His live sound draws from Americana, folk rock, alt-country, and rock, carried by a distinctive voice and arrangements built around dynamics, movement, and release. The songs can open up with a full band or pull close around little more than voice and guitar, giving the set enough range to connect in a listening room, on a club stage, or across a festival field.
Luke Fox never planned on being the guy at the microphone. He wanted to play guitar, stay off to the side and let somebody else do the talking.
Instead, years of playing, writing, singing, and following whatever caught his ear gradually shaped an artist whose music moves through Americana, folk rock, alt-country, roots music, and the rock influences that started it all.
